Just a few steps from the Švandovo divadlo tram stop, Miró is a little piece of Spain in Smíchov.

The Spanish wine list is extensive and what’s great is that most are available by 0.1l glass. We chose an excellent Tempranillo reserva tinto for 113 Kč. A 1l carafe of water 45 Kč. Miró is added to our list of restaurants where tap water is 50 Kč or less.

Every tapas plate was delicious. It’s also possible to order large meals – so far we’ve never made it past the tapas.

Albondigas (Meatballs in tomato sauce) 128 Kč

Calamares la plancha (Grilled calamari) 158 Kč

Pescaditos fritos (Fried fish) 128 Kč

Croquetas de carne / verduras / pescado (meat / vegetable / fish croquettes) 128 Kč

Patatas bravas 98 Kč. The patatas bravas are the weakest dish in my opinion – I’d like the potatoes to be chunky pieces with a spicier, more garlicky sauce.

Miró also have a shop next door to the restaurant and it’s possible to sample wines there together with mostly cold tapas dishes.

We’d recommend a visit to Miró – it’s always busy, so make a reservation.
