Just a five-minute walk from Náměstí Míru, Giardino is a reliable Italian restaurant in Vinohrady. The restaurant has a cosy interior and there’s also a large summer garden.
A 0.15l glass of Montepulciano 90 Kč. A carafe of tap water 50 Kč. Giardino joins our list of Prague restaurants where tap water is less than 50 Kč.
They bring some delicious bread and dips – these are charged at 25 Kč which is a bit cheeky.
The special was a pretty good Beef Wellington 560 Kč.
The pasta and prawns is always good and a reasonable price at 270 Kč.

The garden is boarded and there’s even a small wooden house at the rear for rainy weather.
You’ll enjoy your visit to Giardino. Just opposite is an excellent, newly-opened, fine dining restaurant called Apelace21 that presents real competition.
