We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Prague (review here). The Living Well Health Club is also available to non-guests, albeit a quite a hefty price, so I’m reviewing it separately.

If you’re staying in an Executive Room in the hotel, you can wear your room bathrobes and slippers and head to the mezzanine floor. Otherwise, just enter the Hilton and go up one floor – there are of course changing rooms and lockers.

The reception is just beyond the entrance. The two-level gym looked impressive, but I didn’t visit – only the pool and ‘summer garden’. We were able to enter for free because of our Hilton HHonors Diamond status – I’m not sure what the charges are for standard room hotel guests. I do know the charges for non-hotel guests – sorry for the shadow but I had to take this laminated price list quite quickly.

I’ve no idea where the squash court is. I assume ‘Frozen Membership’ is when you want to pause your membership and nothing to do with the Disney movie – as in:
Let it go, let it go
Can’t hold my membership back anymore

We had to sign in and swap our room key for two locker room keys. It isn’t much of a deposit as the hotel reception would swipe you a new key anyway. The locker rooms were clean, the lockers tall with clothes hangers and there were showers for before and after your pool visit. Beware the lower lockers have a gap at the bottom where your mobile or wallet could slide back out onto the floor.

The pool is large and modern.

And there are plenty of beds.

There’s also a wet (humid) and dry sauna. I don’t really do saunas and so I don’t know the etiquette, but there was a sign to say that all swimwear must be removed before entry. I googled why this is and apparently it’s to allow your body to sweat freely, although it’s also expected that you at least sit on a towel.

There was a door to an outside ‘summer garden’ – the place was lovely although these late afternoon pictures don’t really do it justice.

There was a strange sign at the entrance to the pool.

The side exit door just led straight back to the pool. I also don’t know if it’s possible to just turn up at the Living Well reception and say ‘Summer Garden only please’.

One thing that is missing from the pool and summer garden is a water fountain. There also aren’t any menus where you could order drinks or snacks and that seems like a missed revenue opportunity. I did ask on reception about ordering food and apparently it is possible to order food, a bit like room service, although no glassware is allowed.

The summer garden potentially makes this one of the best hotel pools in Prague, because you have the chance to sunbathe and swim. I’d certainly recommend a visit to the Living Well club if your stay in the Hilton Prague includes complimentary access.
