Monday, May 25th, our critic, Barry Evans, attended the launch of guitarist Geoff Tyson’s new single ‘Best Day Of My Life’ in the E.0 Sál at Kampus Hybernská.
Geoff explains: “The song is about hope and love in a world that is gradually changing and spiraling out of control. It’s about how lovers will survive all destruction thanks to their love. The song came to me in its finished form while I was out on my regular run. The recording was created through spontaneous improvisation, fueled by the endorphin rush from running. To keep it simple, I recorded the song in a single afternoon using only the most basic instruments.”
Entry was free, but required pre-registration. It’s always worth checking the Kampus Hybernská event calendar: https://www.kampushybernska.cz/en/program
