Leggero is a Mediterranean restaurant a short walk from I. P. Pavlova or Náměstí Míru. It’s a friendly local place specialising in fresh fish.
They have a nice summer terrace.
The interior is cosy, but with plenty of space between tables.
A 0.15l glass of a good Montepulciano (82 Kč) and a litre carafe of tap water with slices of lemon (a bit cheeky at 76 Kč). A basket of home-made bread with olive oil (46 Kč).
We both ordered sea bream (350g 339 Kč), grilled vegetables – eggplant, zucchini, tomato, pepper (139 Kč) and baked Grenaille potatoes with rosemary (83 Kč).
The bream was perfectly cooked, delicious and really easy to fillet. The side dishes were all very good.
On our next visit we had Grilled octopus (Mediterranean) with vegetable ratatouille (599 Kč) – delicious and definitely not chewy.
I went downstairs to the bathrooms and discovered more tables – they have plenty of room here.
We really enjoyed our visit and will make this one of our regular places to visit.
