A short walk from Náměstí Míru, Lasagneria specialise in home-made Lasagne dishes. The food, service and prices are all excellent.
The interior is nicely decorated with an interesting string ceiling that could easily be a mathematical model of the Universe!
The counter has a display of various lasagne dishes – you order food and drinks at the counter and a waitress brings everything you need to your table. You pay at the end unless you are getting a takeaway.
The staff, seemingly all beautiful women, are really friendly and helpful.
A 0.15l glass of Prosecco (65 Kč), a 0.1l Cabernet (45 Kč), a carafe of tap water free.
The Lasagna Classica alla Bolognese (189 Kč) is a perfect take on this classic dish and a big portion.
You can pay at the counter, or scan the QR code on your table and pay/tip with Apple/Google Pay.
Lasagneria does everything right – if you like Lasagne, then you have to visit. In warm weather there are also tables outside on the street.

Lasagne or lasagna?
In Italian, lasagna are the individual flat rectangular sheets of pasta. So the plural, lots of sheets making a dish, is lasagne.

Is this an Ukrainian-owned restaurant? Judging from look of the girls.
