The Passage of Czech Design (Pasáž českého designu) links Senovážné náměstí and Na Příkopě streets and contains a series of windows that showcase Czech art and design.

The passage is also called ‘pasáž České národní banky’ as it owned by the Czech National Bank. To find the passage:

  • Take a tram to Jindřiška tram stop, walk past the powder tower toward the Czech National Bank (the entrance is on Senovážné náměstí), or,
  • take a metro to Můstek and walk along Na Příkopě until you find the entrance on your right, or,
  • take a metro to Náměstí Republiky and walk along Na Příkopě until you find the entrance on your left.

In the video below, I walk from Senovážné náměstí to Na Příkopě.

The artists and designers change regularly. The current list: https://www.pasazdesignu.cz/vystavovatele/

My favourite artist is Martina Krupičková who paints oil on a black canvas using only a palette knife. Her window in the passage is one of the first that you’ll see when walking from Senovážné náměstí to Na Příkopě.

After visiting the Passage of Czech Design, you can also visit the Czech National Bank Visitor Centre.
