Opened mid-2025, in what used to be a Potrefená husa, Yuzu is a beautifully-decorated restaurant, offering pan-Asian dining, blending influences from Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese cuisines.
Prices correct as December 2025. All the staff were friendly and professional.
The only red wine available by the glass was the Czech Modrý Portugal, so we chose 0.33l glasses of Pilsner Urquell (50 Kč).
The Yuzu Crunch roll was excellent – Inside: fried shrimp, salmon, avocado, cucumber, Philadelphia cheese, Outside: Yuzu-mango sauce, Spicy-Mayo sauce, Unagi sauce, caviar. (300 Kč).
The chicken Yaki Gyoza were perfect (130 Kč).
I realise that for the purposes of a review we should have chosen different main courses, but we both wanted duck with five red spices, coconut milk, vegetables and rice (390 Kč). Some good flavours, but the duck was a little chewy.
We were told by the staff that the restaurant has two underground floors and they will open soon; one for karaoke and the other as a grill. There is also a summer garden. The previous occupant (Potrefená husa) couldn’t fill the main restaurant, so these plans are ambitious.
The majority of Vietnamese/Thai restaurants in Prague, occupy what were once Czech restaurants and the addition of a few Halong Bay posters and a waving cat completes the conversion. Yuzu is certainly a step up from that in both food and decor. We enjoyed our visit and would return.
