Dim Sum Spot, Prague

There are three Dim Sum Spot restaurants in Prague. The largest, near Anděl, just got bigger by combining with the bar and garden next door.

Clock and Bubeneč are both small breweries who have a pub and garden next to Dim Sum Spot.

It seems that the deal is that Dim Sum Spot sell their beer and the pub sells dim sum. The marriage is made more perfect as it adds a lovely garden, previously missing from Dim Sum Spot.

You can walk straight between Dim Sum Spot and the bar/garden.

All the staff are friendly and usually speak English.

A 0.4l Bubeneč 11 beer (69 Kč) and a 0.4l Bubeneč 8 beer (60 Kč).

The dim sum and jiaozi (like gyoza but steamed) are delicious and severed in traditional baskets – the duck dim sum (220 Kč for 4 pieces) and chicken, chilli and peanut jiaozi (100 Kč for 4 pieces) are our favourites. We’ve also tried the beef which was very good. Hoisin sauce is 40 Kč.

The available draught beers – they really should add prices:

Dim Sum Spot Anděl has great air conditioning – really useful in the hot summer months. They also add sound-deadening foam to the bottoms of chairs and tables – a great idea for all restaurants.
