Ava by Adrien is a French wine bar just behind the Kotva department store. The interior is cosy but the highlight is a beautiful summer garden.

A French Citadelle Gin and Fever Tree Tonic – perfect for a warm evening (179 Kč).
Delicious Pinchos – cheese, ham and truffle (79 Kč per).

The pianist Robin Finesilver was playing. I asked him if he could just freestyle and this was the result.

I asked this mother and daughter, visiting from Honduras, if I could include this picture – really captures the essence of the place.

The interior is cosy.

Ava by Adrien is the second French wine bar opened by Adrien Bricout. The first is the popular La Cave D’Adrien in Vinohrady. That has streetside tables, so I really like that Ava has a large garden.

I’d recommend a visit, especially on a Sunday evening when Robin usually plays.
