Here are some travel competitions to enter while we’re in lockdown. Hopefully it won’t be too long until we can travel again and even better if that holiday was free.
All competitions require you to provide at least your name and email address. You should expect future emails from the sponsor and probably their ‘trusted partners’ forever after!
Win a luxury five-night holiday in Crete
This competition, from Hello Magazine, appears to open to everyone Worldwide – although the entry form has a weird question: Which city would you like to win tickets for; London or Manachester. Flights aren’t included, so no idea what that is about. The entry form also wants more of your details.
The prize is very good. A five-night stay for two at the newnewly-opened Nana Princess hotel; in a deluxe junior suite with private heated pool on a bed and breakfast basis. The prize worth more than £4,000 includes full use of the resort facilities, spa and wellness centre, plus transfers from and to the local Heraklion airport in a Mercedes E-Class.
Flghts aren’t included. Entries close 1st March 2021 and the holiday must be taken between 8th and 25th June 2021 or 9th and 25th September 2021.
Win an unforgettable family adventure to Sri Lanka
This competition, from Lonely Planet, appears to open to everyone Worldwide. It’s also a ’50 words or less’ entry and I’d hope that means it isn’t just a random draw. All I would ask is that your 50 words isn’t a tragic story of how your cat was run over and now you need this amazing holiday – just be positive!
Prize is for two adults and two children and includes: A 10-day / nine-night trip to Sri Lanka, including Emirates flights, accommodation, arrival and departure airport transport, breakfast and dinners, Activities and tours based on your family’s interests, $200 towards Lonely Planet Kids and Lonely Planet products, and a free copy of Hidden Wonders.
I couldn’t find a closing date for this competition.
If you have a UK address, there are more competitions that you can enter. Head over to our Sister site https://bugadvisor.com/ for details of those.
